I normally buy games from the App Store, but after seeing the video that follows of Koi Pond, I may need to reconsider. Currently on the iTunes App Store, the paid application that has the top spot is Koi Pond.

A reader over at AppleInsider just got another one of Steve Jobs' brief and to the point emails. This time, it's in regards to a crash bug that affects third-party apps on start up.
The email reads as follows:
"This is a known iPhone bug that is being fixed in the next software update in September."

Australian developer Firemint have been showing off their new mobile racing game, Real Racing, which could make an appearance on the iPhone's AppStore by Christmas. In the video below you can see the graphics capabilities of the iPhone as a gaming platform, as well as Real Racing's use of the accelerometer. Gaming will either be one-player or head-to-head over either your carrier's network or via WiFi.

If you're a fan of Tetris, there's an iPhone app you should download that provides a very similar experience for free. It's called Tris and it's currently ranked in the Top 25 Free apps on the iTunes App Store.

You've all heard about the iPhone killswitch by now. You also must know that Steve Jobs admitted to its existence and remarked that it would be negligent of Apple to not insert a safety measure to pull malicious apps from phones. As the iPhone 3G is released across the world, it comes as no surprise that we'd start to see countries with multiple carries. And that's precisely what's happened in Turkey.
